A friend of mine regularly comes to me for HVAC advice, however this time his questions are a little out of my wheelhouse. He wants to have a 50gal buffer tank at -40c with a loop running to a shotgun condenser to recover butane. I don't know what the btu load on the condenser will be yet, we will have to size it later, just trying to get into the right ballpark for now. What kind of chiller would you recommend for a glycol system that cold?
