Inverted Fridge?

I am a single guy who likes to bulk cook since it tends to be cheaper and saves a lot of time. But my fridge is in that pretty standard orientation where there is a big, bottom compartment that is a refrigerator and the smaller, top compartment is a freezer. Because I bulk cook and am only dealing with the food needs of one person, I often find my freezer is jam packed full of stored stuff and my refrigerator is pretty empty.

I have dials that control the temp for each compartment, would there be any harm or problems in inverting the functions of each compartment? As in, turn the temp down to the point of freezing in the larger, normally refrigerator compartment and turning the temp up in the smaller, normally freezer compartment so that things don't freeze, hopefully in the say, 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit range. I am not sure if this is possible as I haven't tried messing with the dials, but I am not sure if there is something about the design of the appliance that I am not considering that would make this a bad idea?

Thank you for your time and feedback!
