I have a small webasto marine unit I just purchased that isn’t getting cold. It’s generating some heat on the tubing- compressor looks new and maybe replaced by the looks of the copper tubing (brazing). I’d like to attempt to recharge and see if that does it. There’s a single copper tube with a port coming off the compressor. I presume this is a full port, but attaching a R134a port and then bottle to charge didn’t seem to work....there was a lot of pressure coming out (probably guessing 20psi when I connected the adapter) and I don’t think the Freon was actually charging when I started the pump and attempted to charge. Anyone have ideas?
