ITALY: MTA has added a new air cooled chiller, designed for use with lower GWP refrigerant R454B, to its established Taurus series.
With hermetic scroll compressors, the new Taurus G models cover cooling capacities from 73 to 145kW. They are said to boast high seasonal efficiencies in accordance with ERP directive Tier 2 requirements. Quiet SHE and very quiet SSN version are available.
R454B is a Chemours refrigerant branded as Opteon XL41. An A2L refrigerant, it is a blend of R32 and R1234yf with a GWP of 466.
As standard, MTA supplies the chillers of the TAURUS G series with plate evaporator, crankcase heating, electronic expansion valves, phase monitoring and microprocessor controller. Equipment for operation down to -20°C ambient temperature, P15 pumps, efficient EC fans, tube bundle heat exchangers and integrated buffer tanks are optionally available.
Versions with up to 100% heat recovery or as a pure condenser unit to be combined with external heat exchangers complete the series.
In addition to kits for remote control, MTA offers its xWEB300D monitoring system and modules for master-slave operation of up to eight systems as accessories.
