Using one compressor to pump down another? (RACK)

Just wanted to know what’s kosher to you guys.

Sometimes I see crews valve off and reclaim, I personally valve off, purge hoses, valve off suction and adjust pressure switch on neighbor comp to like -2hg and pump down that way.

I won’t do it if the rack is pretty old or known for leaks
