Hello, we just bought a brand new whirlpool French door refrigerator and it says the recommended temperature should be 37 degrees. We waited 24 hours before placing food inside and placed 4 thermostats in different areas of the fridge. The freezer is at the right temp but the fridge doesn’t seem to go below 38 degrees. So we lowered preset down by one degree and waited another 24 hours. That seemed to work, but after placing food in the fridge and waiting another 24 hours we have temps of 42-45 degrees. And opening the fridge doors for even a few seconds just brings the temp up again. Is this normal for French door fridges? Unfortunately whirlpool has one technician company in our city and they have the worst reviews. I’ve tried researching online but have not found any useful info. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
