What you do, where you are and what you're paid

I just saw a similar thread in another subreddit and thought I would post one here. Just wondering what the going rate is in the industry these days.

I'm an aircraft mechanic in western Canada, looking to make a career change. Refrigeration seems like an interesting and challenging line of work. Thanks in advance for any information.
