I'm designing a DIY refrigerator. 32-40 cu ft interior. I'm looking at using a window AC unit as the chiller. Need knowledge.

The AC unit is R32. Can I separate the evaporator from the rest, run extension tubes thru the wall and reseal it all up for a recharge?

Where can I get the charging port and the refrigerant?

I can either use the existing thermostat with a coolbot or simply add my own controller. It's the coolant and piping I need help with.
