Light suddenly went out and refrigerator is not cooling, but freezer seems to be

All my googling can't seem to find this exact issue; today, my wife opened the fridge, and she said the light came on for a second, flicked off, and now everything seems to be getting warmer. The freezer SEEMS to still be cold.

Any ideas on first steps?? I'm relatively handy and a good learner. Thanks y'all
