Hello all! I am repairing a couple of sub-zero fridges that were damaged in a minor flood. I've repowered them using aftermarket controllers and condenser fans, one runs perfect and the other is having some issues that I've determined to be related to the motor start relay assembly (I believe that's what it's called - correct me if I'm wrong).
The board on the assembly is obviously corroded and damaged, when I hard wire compressor to run I hear the relay, and it starts but as soon as it appears to try to switch over to "run" it dies. I looked up the model number for this part, and there are plenty of results which appear to be identical but have part numbers assigned to them that don't line up with any of the numbers on my part. When I search the numbers on my part, I come up empty handed.... will any of these pieces that share the same model number work? Or does it have to be this very specific, identical part?
***I'm aware I can source the parts through Sub-Zero, but if its the same Embraco start relay that they use on a bunch of other motors, why wouldn't I try to find a cheaper solution by ordering the part direct?***
