More info: 10 year old ice o matic 230v. Compressor not starting. Good ohms across pins. Not grounded. Start components test good. Relays test good. Low and high pressure cutouts test good. Weighed out charge, weighed it back in. Finally forced it to start with compressor analyzer. Seals are bad. Compressor equalized while running. Done, son
Can a super tech explain open line amp draw on common winding after force start?
This has happened 1 other time before. It's a Copeland reciprocating. 404a.
That time, trainer replaced compressor.
