Company start up. Union or non union?

I’m about to finalize my business and start work within the next few months or so. I haven’t put my 2 weeks in with my current company which is union. I was wondering if there’s any pros or cons for a small start up (that intends to build the company past a one man show) if I stayed in the union and or if I went non union. I was leaning towards staying unionized but figured I’d ask around. And FYI we have a strong union here that is pretty good. Thanks In advance
