I am doing a warranty compressor replacement on our Hobart reach in freezer asked all you guys about that was tripping the circuit breaker a couple weeks ago. After several extensive tests I’ve come to conclusion the compressor just gets too hot after several hours of run time. I have checked the oil charge that I pulled out of the existing compressor and it looks like about half of the oil is in the system so I’m going to take the replacement and weigh out approximately half of the oil that’s in it. I’m able to get pretty exact with the measuring container that I have. Seeking some opinions from other techs on their protocols.
