This is going to sound bad because I just worked my ass off for 2 years trying to get this job and my best friend put in a good word for me to get it but is all commercial refrigeration this sketchy?
I've been at this job for 3 weeks now. Yesterday we put 2 big condensers (20-25ft high each on a 40ft roof) and I think I'm pretty afraid of heights. Not only that but these guys were like monkeys crawling all over this thing. No safety equipment, no regard for anyone's safety, just hurry up and get it done. I called my friend after work and he just told me I gotta know when to tell these guys no because they'll just keep pushing my limits and to just suck it up
Am I just not cut out for this trade? This isn't how I invisioned it and this isn't how my friend has ever described his work to me
