I have a question to anyone who is self employed in California. I have been in the appliance repair industry for about 7 years now and have mainly been working on rebuilding home refrigerators. I have recently obtained a DBA and need to get my business license next. So I ran into this opportunity to conduct repairs on ice merchandisers. My plan is to work as a 1099 contractor to perform the work as needed. What would be the ideal pay rate? I need some guidance here. Not sure if I need any additional licensing because I do have my EPA and will have an appliance repair license. Thanks I’m advance!
