Ammonia training and certification

I've been a freon tech for almost 20 years. My company has some customers with both freon and ammonia refrigeration systems, and they call another contractor for the ammonia work. Several of these folks have mentioned that they'd prefer us to do their ammonia work. I've looked at the systems and I have a pretty good understanding of what's happening. Does anyone know if there is a certification required (I'm in New York State, non-NYC)? I would have to assume that there is something. I don't believe I would need a stationary operator's license, but I really can't find too much information about it.

If you're an ammonia guy please don't be offended. I'm not implying that I can jump right in and service these systems. I'm just doing some research to see if this is a road that's worth going down.
