So my roommate and I have been having trouble with the freezer compartment of our fridge, it seems to barely be cold enough to freeze the ice we put in our ice cube tray.
We tried to diagnose the issue ourselves and check the component with an electrical meter, and finally opening the freezer compartment coil housing. When we did we found the connection point between the evaporating coil and the copper line feeding it frozen. We thawed it out think we’d get a better picture of the issue, but couldn’t make sense of it.
Another thing of note is that when we were cleaning the interior of the freezer (might as well if it’s vacant) we notice some congealment of something. Is our coil possibly leaking? Any help would be appreciated!!
