do you need an oil heater if you have an oil separator?

ive got a low temp -35f blast freezer, can i disconnect the compressor oil heater if i am running an oil separator? To my understanding, the oil separator is going to be pumping hot oil back into the motor anyway, doing the job of the oil heater, at least that's what i am assuming
