Installed a high wall ac unit (Mitsubishi heavy hyper inverter) in my parents house about 5-6 years ago. They hardly use it and is installed out of direct sun light. The other day I was in their house and past the ac and noticed the off white colour had gone that disgusting yellow colour like the house was heavy smoked in( no one has ever smoked on the house). I always presumed customers units were like that because they were disgusting people that never clean anything.
Does anyone have any good products or techniques to restore the plastic back to normal or best just replacing the evaporator unit?
