Today at high school my construction teacher let me and my classmate up onto the roof to make a cover for a vent as it flew off from the strong california winds. As I was up there I was looking around at the ACs and saw one with the condenser coil completely iced up! Now I don’t know much about refrigeration systems but I know enough to know that shouldn’t look like that. So I’m wondering, what could be the causes for that? For the past week we’ve been having lots of rain and wind at very low temperatures. Could that be a factor?
