Hello, I need to design a refrigeration system for my degree project. I need to use a coaxial heat exchanger for the evaporator as I am trying to cool another liquid. Essentially, I know the atmospheric temperature and pressure, as well as the temperature I want the cooled liquid to be at. I know the basics of the phases of a refrigeration cycle. For design, do I just choose the working temperatures and pressure for the rest of the cycle? From that point, how do I spec components for the cycle?
