Found this under the basket in my freezer

Our freezer was making a lot of that snowy ice stuff that according to my dad is from it not closing properly. After taking a deeper look we found this, no idea what it is or where it came from but it looks like it can snap back on pretty easy if I can get to where it came off. For context the first two pictures are just to show the kind of freezer and brand, the third shows the space we found it in, the fourth is just the freezer itself to show what kind, the last two is a front and back of the item we found.
