Understanding and Adjusting refrigeration base values

To those experienced with micro thermo; Could someone explain to me what these parameters mean in lament terms, and how they relate to each other to control case temp/superheat control? Or direct me in a direction to learn? Ever once and a while a case will display a "base values needs readjustment", and I've been completely guessing on how to set it up adjusting to match another similar case in the store.
