Need advice: Intelligen Bohn walk-in cooler still not fixed after 3 visits & thousands spent (video attached if needed)

Hey everyone, I’m hoping to get some professional insight here because I’m at my wit’s end.

I had a brand new Intelligen Bohn system installed in October 2023. I also pay for 6-month maintenance (last service was just 3 weeks ago).

Here’s the timeline of what’s happened recently:

Call #1 – Got a low superheat alarm. Tech comes out, spends 3 hours diagnosing, says the Intelligen control module needs replacement. Cost: $600.

Call #2 – They replace the module, another 3 hours of “testing,” bill is $1,100. Next day, cooler is at 55°F and all my food is spoiled. Same alarm still happening.

Call #3 – Tech says, “Oh actually it’s a leak.” They flush the system, pull the charge, and add 9 lbs of refrigerant. I never signed off on anything because I told them I wanted to talk to the owner first about why this wasn’t caught earlier. (My suspicion: it was either caused during their visits, or they were just guessing up to this point.)

And guess what? An hour after they left, same exact alert, and my cooler is back at 60°F with another round of spoiled product.

So now I’m out thousands in service calls, equipment is still not working, and I’ve lost all my product twice in a week.

My questions:

Who is responsible here? The contractor for misdiagnosing and possibly causing the issue, or am I just out of luck?

What options do I realistically have moving forward?

Would posting the video of the system running + alarms help people here diagnose?

Appreciate any feedback from you guys who know these systems better than I do.
