Any techs here “flipping” commercial stand ups and counter units?

This bit was a side job for a restaurant friend I know setting up a catering kitchen for his small business. He bought them all of them for like 2200? I’m just giving him my Sunday provided with a case of beer fee. But does anyone do this on the regular? Is there some type of auction or close out website I could get too?
