R134a cooler not hitting temp after repair

I have a r134a cooler not hitting temp after fixing the txv. The current temp is sitting at 42 degrees and it just stays there. The compressor is freezing up but I think that's due to it not cycling off. 2 weeks ago I replaced the txv due to it being completely plugged. Now for some reason it is not hitting temp and I have no reason why. Currently have 4.9 degrees of sub cooling. only like a degree of temp drop on the way to the txv. I have 6.4 degrees of superheat. Yet again no big temperature change on the way back to the compressor. I need to calibrate my temp clamps so checking sc and sh the old fashion way. submitted by /u/Doogie102 [link] [comments]
