I have a Copland scroll with a DTC( discharge temperature control) valve and it has very intense high frequency vibration to where the pipe that connects the compressor and the DTC valve cracked.
Repairs that I did is solder the crack closed and pray. And that only lasted for about 2 weeks
Need some advice on what to do next. Do I melt a whole stick of solder all over the pipe and call it a day. Find a thick piece of 5/16 pipe somehow. Install a vibration isolator somewhere close to the DTC valve? Replace the whole compressor? Kinda lost.
