Hey everyone! I was being dumb and managed to put a hole in my refrigerant line. What followed was hissing and white mist being flung into the air and at some boxes nearby. I ventilated the entire area, my only concern is does the refrigerant leave a residue? Is there a way to clean it? I know there's oil in the lines but if it only leaked for say 5 seconds is there a chance it flung oil out? I appreciate any answers, I have anxiety and am just trying to make sure I clean everything I can and that none of it is dangerous if I miss some. Thanks again. Btw this was a mini fridge, Also if it sprayed onto drinks are those still safe to drink? Can I rinse them?
the leak was inside the fridge, looking in there I can see the oil on the walls so it definitely sprayed oil aswell. I closed the door as fast as I could but at least 3 seconds of the stuff spraying got out. Should I be at all concerned or am I freaking out for nothing?
