Troubleshooting a warm fridge

Today I spent a lot of time trying to fix my fridge and it seems like the problem is persisting. Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.

Fridge is warm but freezer is still cold. Figured I had a problem with the cold air from the freezer getting to the fridge. Unplugged the unit for 4 hours to let it defrost. Kept an eye on the drip at the bottom and once it stopped, I figured the ice was probably melted. Checked the fan at the back of the freezer and that was running. Cleaned off the condenser coils for good measure. Plugged it back in and it really seemed like it was working again. I could feel cold air coming into the fridge and it was down to 50 degrees pretty quickly. Fast forward few hours, I check my thermostat, and the fridge is at 60! Cold air is no longer coming out of the vent.

Not sure what to do next. Thermostat issue? Did I not defrost enough? Time to call a professional? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
