Top or bottom mounted compressor for freezer kept outdoors?

I’m looking to buy a commercial freezer to keep outdoors on my driveway next to the exterior wall of my house. I’m in Southern California, so extreme temperatures are not a problem. Even so, I know that keeping a freezer outdoors is a bad idea, but I am going to do it anyway. Pictures of the outdoor location:

If I get a freezer with a bottom mounted compressor, it might suck in dust and debris, but since it is on the bottom it will be easy for me to clean and maintain. Also, since the compressor is on the bottom, it won’t be exposed to rain.

If I get a freezer with a top mounted compressor, it will be far away from dust and debris, but the compressor will be exposed to rain and be harder to clean and maintain. Rain on the compressor would be a bad thing, right?

My current plan is to get a freezer with a bottom mounted compressor. Does that sound like the right choice?
