I bought a GE Profile PVD28BYNFS in April. It worked fine for a couple of weeks, then one day it was off with no explanation. I confirmed it was plugged in with 122V at the outlet. The next day, it was back on again (again with no explanation), but now the control panel shows "nc" and nothing else. Cooling seems to work fine, but the panel isn't responsive.
I tried a reset by unplugging for 5m. When plugged back in, it clicks a few times and then "nc" appears again.
I will try to have GE make this right, of course, but I like to know what's up with my appliances and I don't understand this one. The code "nc" is something several people have complained about but no one seems to know what it means. It's not in the docs AFAICT.
