If I am swapping from Lets say a 1/2hp compressor to now a 1/3hp, both 134a. When I change out the cap tube(most dont use txv) to what a 1/3hp with medium temp tubing length should be(79”). Does the charge amount stay the same or is there a right way to properly recharge the unit?
Example is going from 1/2hp fan cooled that states 14oz charge amount. When its now 1/3hp With new drier filter, am I still just going to 14 and calling it a day?
