Screw on pressure transducer for EEV - not sealing

Hey guys. I'm doing some experimenting with a universal EEV driver made by sanhua and everything seems good, but the only thing I'm running to problems with is the suction line pressure transducer. It is threaded for a 1/4 flare fitting like normal and also has a core depressor, but when I thread it on it does not seal. Is there an o ring or something that should be on the male flare Schrader fitting or something? When I screw it on, it just arrived at the bottom of threads and hits the end and is very firmly on there, but no seal. I've changed screw.on pressure transducers on intelligen or econet walk in systems and it is moron proof, but this thing has me wondering wtf I am missing.
