Ontario Canada TSSA Class B refrigeration licence hours

I work in municipal arena in Ontario and I am thinking of getting my refrigeration class b licence to progress in my career. I am wondering how the hours are calculated when you are only doing a plant check once every 2 hours. My coworkers say it’s roughly 3-6 years depending on who you are paired up with. Just looking for clarification on how the 1440 hour requirement is calculated as the sources I have seem inconsistent when it comes to how many minutes are gained from each plant check. Hoping I can get an answer here or wondering if I should just call TSSA
